TENGU APS is designed as a versatile robotic platform for operations in environments with high drone activity. Its tracked chassis and serial diesel-electric hybrid powertrain deliver speeds of up to 30 km/h, a range of up to 100 km, and an operational endurance of up to 72 hours.

The system has a payload capacity of at least 1 ton. Its modular architecture allows the platform to be adapted for transporting supplies and ammunition, casualty evacuation, or executing specialized combat missions.

The integrated FLYOFF system performs radio-frequency UAV detection, identifies the type of threat, and intercepts analog video signals. The gathered information is transmitted to the TENGU GS ground station.

The Blood Seeker AESA radar detects aerial targets via radio wave reflection and forms an additional monitoring perimeter around the platform. The system is designed to detect various types of unmanned platforms.

The next line is formed by the MOROK-4X and MOROK-1X electronic warfare systems. They are designed to jam UAV control channels as they approach the platform.

The S.O.V.A. system provides a 360° panoramic optical view and is used to detect aerial and ground objects. The system can detect people, ground vehicles, and various types of UAVs.

The physical countermeasure line is handled by the remotely controlled weapon station ZHNETS M240. The system provides automated targeting and tracking of identified aerial targets.

The final line of active defense for TENGU APS is formed by the ZOREPAD-3P system. It is designed to counter UAVs that have bypassed previous defense layers and approached the platform directly. The system captures UAVs using a net.
