The product design combines optimized mass, controlled impact radius and the ability to adapt to different application scenarios thanks to two modifications: SKIPPER-S and SKIPPER-K.

The shell casing is manufactured by 3D printing (FDM), which ensures high geometry repeatability, flexibility in production and quick adaptation of design solutions.

Modifications of SKIPPER

SKIPPER-S

The shank has a twisted shape with a diameter of 115.3 mm, which ensures stable rotation in flight. This reduces the risk of trajectory deviation and increases the accuracy of the hit. The SKIPPER-S can be suspended in a horizontal or vertical position, maintaining the correct orientation when falling.

THE PRINCIPLE OF SUBVERSION

After dropping from the drone from a height of more than 3 meters, the inertial steel impactor punctures the MD-5 or KD-8 detonator. An explosion of the main charge (~500 g of explosive with a density of 1.6 g/cm³) is initiated.

Modification of the combat unit with mount for the FPV-drone kamikaze. The mount for the drone has a specific shape to fix the projectile at an angle of 40° relative to the drone, for proper debris deployment.

The principle of subversion
In collision with a target, a signal is sent to an electronic detonator (not included), which is mounted in the shell casing. The signal is supplied using a “mustache” or an initiation board (not included).

The SKIPPER series is presented in two modifications — with inertial and electronic detonation principle, which allows the ammunition to be adapted to different tactical scenarios and platform requirements.

Controlled Debris Effect

Due to the given number and geometry of the debris, the predicted damage radius of up to 15 meters is achieved, which increases the application efficiency and reduces uncontrolled side factors.

Optimized mass for unmanned platforms

The loaded weight of the ammunition is 2.5 kg, which provides a balance between striking action and compatibility with a wide range of UAVs of different classes.

FDM 3D printing for fast production and scaling

The use of FDM printing allows you to quickly manufacture ammunition cases, make design changes, and scale production without complicated equipment.
