GRIFFON is designed for tasks where continuous surveillance, long-range target detection, and reliable operation in various environmental conditions are critical. The system can be used for position security, perimeter surveillance, open terrain monitoring, infrastructure facilities, and other areas requiring an elevated and integration into a centralized threat detection system. The system can be combined with an APS (Active Protection System) for active threat countermeasures. For this purpose, the complex has target designation capabilities.

The complex combines day and thermal imaging channels, ensuring operation day and night and in challenging weather conditions. It also provides the operator with full control over the surveillance sector thanks to its rotational PTZ platform and remote control from the operator's workstation. The complex features interfaces for connecting communication systems for remote management.
